Management-as-a-Service

A CTO, COO or CEO for your company or internal start-up on a monthly basis: teams, product, processes, funding and exits, without the full-time hire.

For whom

Founders and boards of scale-ups, established companies launching internal start-ups, and organisations in restructuring or M&A that need an experienced operator now rather than a recruiting process.

Management-as-a-Service means we take an executive role in your company, part-time or interim, and are measured on results. Our people have done this as CTO, COO and CEO in IT and financial businesses for fifteen years.

What we do

  • Executive roles. CTO, COO or CEO for a scale-up, an internal start-up or a division, including board and CEO consulting.
  • Teams and organisation. Building and managing multiple teams, organisation and process design, and talent, partner and vendor acquisition.
  • Product and technology. Product and service set-up, product transformation, AI strategy, IP and patents.
  • Restructuring and M&A. Turnarounds of loss-making divisions, mergers, spin-offs and the integration of acquired companies.
  • Funding and exits. Business and finance plans, pitch decks and investor preparation, through to acquisition.

How an engagement runs

A defined role with defined goals, on a monthly basis. Engagements have lasted from one year for a fintech start-up to seven years for a SaaS scale-up, and scale up or down as the company changes.

What you get

  • A SaaS scale-up grew from 8 to 80 people and from 1M to over 8M EUR with our CTO and COO, launched two new products and an AI strategy, and was acquired by a large US SaaS company.
  • A fintech start-up went from company set-up to an MVP in 3 months and a fully functional product in 6, with a first-year business and finance plan and investor materials.
  • Three internal start-ups of an established company reached fully functional products in 6 to 18 months, started earning revenue and spun off into two new entities, ending in an acquisition by an international French-Chinese group.
  • Divisions of 150+ employees turned from loss to profit, with new business areas and markets opened.
